Higher levels survive scratches, dirt and logos better, but make the code denser. Medium suits most uses; choose High for logos or outdoor print.

Create free QR codes with Ziqeno

Ziqeno turns what you type into a QR code while you type it. Pick a type above, fill in the details, and the preview updates immediately. When it looks right, download it as a PNG for documents and websites, or as an SVG for print, where it stays sharp at any size.

Every code made here is a static QR code: the content is stored in the pattern itself, not on a server. That’s why there is nothing to sign up for and nothing that can expire. A code you print today keeps working as long as the website, phone number or network it points to still exists.

What can you create a QR code for?

    • Websites: link a poster, product label or business card to any web page with a URL QR code.
    • Wi-Fi: guests scan and connect without hunting for the password. See the Wi-Fi QR code guide.
    • Contact cards: a vCard QR code saves your details straight into someone’s contacts.
    • Email: open a new email with the address, subject and message already filled in.
    • Phone: start a call with one tap, useful on shop windows and service vehicles.
    • SMS: prepare a text message, for example a keyword for a sign-up or a support request.
    • WhatsApp: open a chat with your business number, optionally with a ready-made first message.
    • Text: show a short note, serial number or instructions without needing an internet connection.
    • Locations: open a map at a meeting point, entrance or venue using coordinates or an address.

    Why use Ziqeno?

    How QR codes work

A QR code stores information as a grid of dark and light squares called modules. The three large squares in the corners tell a camera where the code is and which way up it is, even at an angle. The data is spread across the grid together with extra error correction data, so a phone can still read the code when part of it is dirty, creased or covered by a logo. Read more in how QR codes work.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is a QR code?

A QR code (Quick Response code) is a square barcode that phones can read with their camera. It can hold a web address, Wi-Fi login, contact card, text and other data. It was invented in 1994 by Denso Wave to track car parts, and today almost every smartphone can scan one without an extra app.

    Are Ziqeno QR codes free?

Yes. Every QR type, design option and download format is free, for personal and commercial use. There is no paid plan. Ziqeno is supported by advertising.

    Do Ziqeno QR codes expire?

No. Ziqeno creates static QR codes, which store the content directly in the pattern. They don’t pass through our servers, so there is nothing we could switch off. A code keeps working as long as what it points to — a web page, phone number or Wi-Fi network — still exists.

    Do I need an account?

No. You don’t need to sign up, log in or give an email address to create, download, scan or decode QR codes.

    Can I add a logo?

Yes. Open “Customize design” and select Add logo, or use the QR Code Styler. Ziqeno switches to High error correction and limits the logo size so the code stays scannable. Always test it before printing.

Are QR codes generated in my browser?

Yes. QR codes are created by code running on your device. What you type, your logo and any images you scan or decode aren’t sent to Ziqeno. The contact form is the exception: messages you send through it go via the Web3Forms service, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Why is my QR code not scanning?

The most common causes are low contrast (light code on a light background), a missing blank margin, printing too small for the amount of content, a logo that is too big, or a glossy surface that reflects light. Try black on white, keep the quiet zone, print larger and shorten long links. If the code links to a website, also check that the address is correct.
