Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what happens to data when you use ziqeno.net.

Summary

  • QR codes are generated, scanned and decoded in your browser. The content of your codes, your logos, your camera feed and your uploaded images aren’t sent to Ziqeno.
  • Ziqeno doesn’t have user accounts and doesn’t keep a database of QR codes.
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdSense, which may use cookies.
  • Messages sent through the contact form are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us by email.

QR tools: processed on your device

QR code generator and styler. The text, links, Wi-Fi details, contact details and other information you enter are turned into a QR code by JavaScript running in your browser. They aren’t transmitted to Ziqeno or stored by this website. We don’t save them in cookies or browser storage.

Logos. Images you add as a logo are read and resized in your browser and included only in the QR code you download. They aren’t uploaded.

Camera scanning. The camera starts only after you select Start camera and your browser grants permission. Video frames are analyzed on your device to find QR codes and are never uploaded or recorded. The camera stops when a code is found, when you stop it, or when you leave or hide the page.

Image decoding. Images you upload, drop or paste into the scanner or decoder are read on your device and aren’t uploaded.

Your location. The location QR generator can fill in your coordinates if you select “Use my current location” and allow it. Your browser provides the coordinates to the page, and they are used only to fill in the form.

Links in QR codes. When you or someone else opens a link from a QR code, such as a website, Google Maps, Apple Maps or WhatsApp, that service handles the request under its own privacy policy.

Website hosting

Like every website, ziqeno.net is delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider’s servers necessarily receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep it in server logs for security and reliability. These logs don’t contain the content of your QR codes, because that content never leaves your browser.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Ziqeno is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google processes this data under its own policies. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage personalized advertising at My Ad Center.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice through the privacy and cookie settings link shown by that message.

Ads aren’t given access to the content of the QR codes you create, scan or decode.

Contact form (Web3Forms)

The contact form is not processed in your browser. When you send a message, the name, email address, subject and message you enter are transmitted to Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service, which forwards them to Ziqeno by email. Web3Forms also receives technical information such as your IP address as part of handling the request. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.

We use your message only to reply and to follow up on your request. We keep it for as long as needed for that and then delete it. We don’t add you to mailing lists.

Cookies and browser storage

Ziqeno’s own tools don’t set cookies and don’t store your QR content in browser storage. Cookies may be set by Google for advertising and consent, as described above.

Analytics

Ziqeno doesn’t currently use a separate analytics service. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and analytics will never include the content of QR codes, uploaded images, Wi-Fi passwords or scan results.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the QR tools don’t send your content to us, we hold no data about your use of them. For contact form messages, write to us through the contact page. For advertising data, use Google’s controls linked above.

Children

Ziqeno isn’t directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We’ll update this page if the way Ziqeno handles data changes, and revise the date at the top.
