Higher levels survive scratches, dirt and logos better, but make the code denser. Medium suits most uses; choose High for logos or outdoor print.

4

Blank border in modules. 4 is the standard.

Your QR code is generated on this device. What you type isn’t sent to Ziqeno.

Your QR code will appear here as you type.

Scan your code with a phone before you print or publish it.

Your password stays on your device

The network name and password are combined into the code by this page, on your device. They aren’t sent to Ziqeno or saved by this site. Keep in mind that anyone who can see the printed code can join your network, so place it where only your guests will scan it.

Which phones can join by scanning?

iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and most Android phones (Android 10 and later, plus many earlier models through their camera or Google Lens) recognize Wi-Fi codes in the camera app and offer to join the network. Some laptops can scan them too, but most people will use a phone.

    Getting the details right

    • Network name: must match exactly, including capital letters and spaces. Copy it from your router label or the Wi-Fi list on a connected device.
    • Security: choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for almost every modern router. WEP is only for very old equipment. Choose None for open networks.
    • Special characters: characters such as ; , : " and \ in your password are escaped automatically so phones read them correctly.
    • Hidden network: only tick this if your router doesn’t broadcast the network name.

If you change your Wi-Fi password, the old code stops working, so you’ll need to make a new one. Our Wi-Fi QR code guide covers placement ideas and troubleshooting.
