    What scanning a phone QR code does

    The code holds a tel: link with your number. Phones show the number and a call button; the call only starts when the person taps it. On tablets and computers without calling, people can still copy the number.

    Format the number for everyone

    Write the number in international format with the country code, such as +44 20 7946 0000 or +1 212 555 0100. That way it works for visitors and roaming phones too. Ziqeno removes spaces, dashes and brackets automatically and keeps the leading +.
